In order to change new rear brake shoes, one has to clean the brake drums to remove the glazing to provide a uniform friction. Take off the drum, clips, springs and shoes. Rub silicone grease to contacts, then repeat the above steps in reverse and rectify the shoes accordingly to fit appropriately.
