How to service the left-hand exhaust manifold on 2005 Ford Freestar?

To service the left-hand exhaust manifold, place the vehicle in neutral on a hoist. Remove the dual converter Y-pipe and oil-level tube bolt. Disconnect the EGR tube, remove six manifold nuts and old gasket. Install a new gasket and manifold, tighten nuts, reconnect the EGR tube, reinstall bolt and Y-pipe.
