The combination of a Pilot Bearing Remover and an Impact Slide Hammer will detach and dispose of the transmission input shaft pilot bearing. The new pregreased transmission input shaft pilot bearing can be installed through the combination of a soft-face hammer and the Pilot Bearing Replacer for gasoline engines. During diesel engine servicing the same pregreased pilot bearing gets installed with a soft-face hammer along with a suitable driver. Reinstall the clutch disc along with the pressure plate at the end of the installation process.
