Service and repair of the cruise control switch starts with removing the driver air bag module and moving on to the removal of four screws that keep the steering wheel cover in place before removing the cover itself. After removing four nuts which secure the steering wheel brace you can remove it properly tighten to 9 Nm (80 lb-in) before reattaching. You should first disconnect electrical connectors then unscrew the four screws on the speed control switch before removing both speed control switches and finally tightening the screws to 7 Nm (62 lb-in). Execute the installation by returning to the procedure that was used for removal.
