A 2.3L engine requires the vehicle to be hoisted in the neutral position in order to service the thermostat housing. Discharge cooling system, and then loosen the thermostat sheltering bolts with tools of 1/4-inch. unplease, disconnect hoses, remove the housing and install a new gasket. Lastly, fill up and empty cooling system.
