To service the C-pillar side impact sensor, shut off the SRS, remove the rear seat bolster and disconnect the sensor. Take out the sensor and securing bolt. Install the new sensor and fix it to 12 Nm. Before re- installing and restarting the SRS, clean the mating surfaces first and restart the service.
