How to service the wiper motor on 2009 Lincoln MKS?

In order to service the wiper motor assembly, loosen the wiper mounting arm and pivot shaft assembly. Do not remove the linkage arm off the motor. Separate the pivot arm with a screwdriver, and using a screwdriver take out the three bolts, tightening to 18 Nm when replacing. There are steps to undo, which apply in installing the new motor.
