How to service and repair the Center Console Base on 2009 Lincoln MKS?

In order to service the floor console, engage the parking brake and position the selector lever to neutral. Take out the lower paneling of trims, bolts, and cup holder. Unscrew the HVAC, trim panel, and selector lever knob and take them out. Unattach the harness and bolts and pull the console back to remove. To reinstall, follow the reverse.
