In order to fit the windshield wiper mounting arm and pivot shaft, it is important to first remove the wiper pivot arms and cowl top vent panels. Uncouple the assembly with the motor, and unscrew the assembly. To install, screws should be tightened to 9 Nm (80 lb-in) and undo the steps in reverse.
