How to Service and Repair the Steering Shaft on 2007 Lincoln Town Car?

Turn off SRS; position wheel straight-ahead, without key. Do not allow wheel rotation; in case shaft has moved, take/recenter Clock Spring out. Unscrew/filter out upper intermediate-shaft bolt (Install 30 Nm) and 2 bearing nuts at (11 Nm). Unscrew/UNT screw lower shaft-to-gear bolt ( screw back in 30 Nm). Add back by reverse removal procedure.
