How to service the battery cables on 2007 Ford Edge?

A battery tray needs to be removed to service the battery cables, disconnect terminals and tighten them to a given torque when replacing. Disconnect battery cable on the engine and intake manifold, and take off the generator protective cover. Lastly, disconnect the battery cables and do the same in installing.
