How to service the exterior Mirror Switch on 2006 Lincoln Town Car?

To maintain the exterior mirror control switch, cover the trim panel of the front door with a shop towel. Unattach the window switch plate assembly, unscrew it, and lose the electrical connector. Unscrew the exterior mirror control switch by removing the locking tabs. In order to install the new switch, repeat the process in reverse.
