The servicing process for the windshield wiper motor begins with front wiper pivot arm removal together with both right-hand and left-hand cowl grille panels. First detach the electrical connector of the windshield wiper motor before freeing the wiring harness from the wiper arm and setting the parts aside. The three windshield wiper assembly mounting bolts require removal but they should be tightened to 15 Nm (11 lb-ft) before installation. Set the workbench to receive the windshield wiper assembly before extraction. The windshield wiper motor mounting arm bolt must be removed before taking out its wiper motor mounting arm, then tighten it to 15 Nm (11 lb-ft) upon reassembly. Follow the procedure to uninstall the three bolts at the windshield wiper motor while tightening them to 15 Nm (11 lb-ft) during replacement. To conclude the job remove the windshield wiper motor afterwards reverse the steps you used for removal.
