How to service the connecting rod bearings on 2004 Ford Ranger?

To remove the oil pan and baffle to service the connecting rod bearings. Gently remove the bearing caps and rods and put them in their right position upon re-fitting. apply clean oil on new bearings. Do the same with all bearings, and then put the baffle and oil pan back in place at the end of it.
