Service of the exterior rear door handle begins with trims removal of the rear door panel while moving the watershield out of the way. Remove the door latch electrical connector through the process of releasing its retaining clip while also disconnecting the electrical wiring. After removing the bolts you should detach the rear door glass top run and set it aside. You need to disconnect the exterior door handle actuating rod by first opening its clip and then removing the rod. The exterior door handle cover becomes accessible through handle pull until the front part releases while removing exterior door handle screws. Use the rearward direction to slide the exterior door handle away from the vehicle and then take off the exterior door handle seals and door latch remote control which are located inside the door frame. The installation process requires doing the reversed steps from removal.
