How to service and repair the wheel hub and bearing on 2002 Mercury Grand Marquis?

In order to service the wheel hub and bearing, elevate the vehicle, deflate the tire and dismount the brake disc. Dispose of the hub cap grease seal and retainer. It is important not to damage the ABS sensor when lifting the hub assembly. Fit in the new assembly, retainer and grease seal and re-fit the brake disc and also lower the vehicle.
