How to service and repair the fuel filler hose on 2002 Lincoln Continental?

In order to service the fuel filler hose, disconnect the battery negative cable and empty out the fuel tank. Lift the car, dislodge the filler pipe support bracket bolt and take off the hoses. Next, take out the filler pipe to the fuel tank. To install reverse the steps of removal.
