How to service and repair the throttle body equipped with speed control on 2001 Mercury Cougar?

Removing air cleaner outlet tube and intake air resonator is required to service and repair throttle body in speed control vehicle. Unplug the speed control and accelerator cables, and the throttle position sensor connector. Take off throttle body assembly, roll off old gasket and put in new gasket without cleaning throttle body. Installation Reverse the removal process.
