How to Service and Repair the Power Steering Cooler on 2001 Mercury Cougar?

In order to maintain the power steering cooler, disconnect battery ground, hoist the vehicle, and unscrew the radiator splash shield. Disattach the cooler lines to empty the fluid and then remove the cooler. To install, reverse the procedure and then bleed the power steering system.
