How to service the Harmonic Balancer on 2001 Ford Ranger?

Crankshaft pulley Service To service the crankshaft pulley, loosen the fan shroud first, then remove the drive belt. In order to avoid damage, use a three-bolt puller. Once the pulley is removed apply the washer on the bolt and reconnect the pulley, bolt and drive belt. Lastly, screw the bolt and put the fan shroud back.
