How to Remove and Install the A/C Accumulator on 2001 Ford Explorer Sport?

In order to eliminate the suction accumulator/drier, the battery, refrigerant, and the air cleaner assembly should be removed. Disconnect the speed control servo and put the coolant expansion tank aside. Unplug the A/C cycling switch and refrigerant lines and screw out the accumulator. Installation and refrigerant oil should be added in time, as required, and then the process must be reversed.
